2024 GCAC Elementary Cross Country Meet Schedule

**All HOME XC Meets take place in Grove City's Memorial Park Ball Fields behind the Armory

**Times may change - check coach's emails during the season for updates!

Monday July 22 @ 8am (1st practice) - with Parent Meeting directly after at 9am (Memorial Park, Keystone Pavilion)

Wednesday August 14 @ 7pm - Optional Courtney's Ice Cream Race (5k or 1/2mi kids run) - http://runhigh.com

Saturday August 31 - Titusville Rocket Invitational

Time: Arrive no later than 8am

Race TIMES:

- "Little Harriers" 1/2 mile Race 8:45am

- Elementary 1 mile Race 9:00am (Note: grades 5-6 cannot run in the Little Harriers race)

Saturday September 14 - Commodore Perry Invitational

Arrive between 7:30am to 7:45am (at the latest)

Elementary Girls Race at 8:30am

Elementary Boys Race at 8:45am

Elementary Race Distance: 1.3 miles

**First 10 male and female finishers will receive medals, with the remaining finishers receiving ribbons

**This is our CHAMPIONSHIPS and we want you to be there!!!

Arrival Time: Arrive by 7:30 to 7:45am (at latest so we can walk the course)

• GCAC Elementary Boys have NEVER LOST the Mercer County XC Championships!

  • 1st Place Boys Team Champions: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023

• GCAC Elementary Girls have NEVER placed lower than 2nd Place Team at the Mercer County XC Championships!

  • 1st Place Girls Team Champions: 2019

  • 2nd Place Girls Team: 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023

• GCAC Elementary Roster is regularly 100+ kids (e.g., 2023 roster was 121 kids) and 15+ volunteer coaches (e.g., 2023 had 16 coaches)!

• We hope that all in-coming 7th graders (and all kids grades 7-12) will move on to Middle School or High School Cross Country after participating in our elementary program!
