Events

One of the main goals of GCAC is to provide opportunities for adult members to also get together for easy group runs and quality speed/track workouts.

There are several adult group runs that meet weekly:
- GCAC Member Renee Miller's "Glow Squad": Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday - all VERY early mornings!
- GCAC Coach Chrissy Hayes adult group runs: varied weekly schedule.
- GCAC Member Hannah Gildersleeve adult group runs: Sundays.

You do NOT have to be a member of the Grove City Athletics Club to participate in our adult group training.

All paces and distances are welcome! Don't worry if you think you are too slow or cannot run far enough!

Also, if you are interested in starting your own weekly group runs, email GroveCityAC@gmail.com and/or post your ideas to our GCAC Private Group Facebook page, which is open for anyone to post looking for running mates.

GCAC Male & Female Scholarships

GCAC is proud to offer two separate Grove City Athletics Club Boy's and Girl's Scholarships every year!

Description

In an effort to support cross country/track & field within the community, the purpose of this scholarship is to recognize a local cross country and/or track & field athlete who plans to continue their athletic career in college. It is the goal of the club to award a scholarship to one qualifying male and one qualifying female each year. All candidates must meet the following criteria:

Criteria

The awardee must…

…have participated in high school cross country or track & field (any event).
…be a high school senior with the intention of participating in cross country or track & field in college.
…have good moral character.

Preference will be given to athletes who…

…are a member of the Grove City Athletics Club.
…have participated in training runs/programs/events/races with the Grove City Athletics Club.
…have competed for Grove City High School or within the surrounding area (i.e., Mercer County).
…participated in both cross country and track & field.
…participated in cross country or track & field all four years of high school.
